Status
Status is clear-to-load but the loader still fails
Clear status is required but not enough alone — exclusions, overlays and load order still matter before you open a ticket.

Screenshot the product status first so Support can confirm you were truly clear-to-load.
Re-add Defender exclusions, close overlays, launch Destiny 2, then run the official loader once.
If it still fails after one clean retry, include order ID and Windows version in Support.

Status was clear; Defender still ate the file. Exclusion fixed it.

Screenshot in the ticket stopped the “are you on Updating?” back-and-forth.

Overlay closed + game first + loader once. Passed on retry.

Clear status does not skip setup. Same as fresh install order.

One clean retry rule — spam clicking made Support’s job harder.

Win11 version in the ticket was what they asked for next.

Restored quarantine, then load. Status alone never was enough.

Official loader path only. Random “fix” EXE made things worse.

Linked this thread under crash-after-inject too — same checklist.

Clear label + broken AV exclusions = false “undetected but broken” reports.

Status first, setup second, Support third. That order.
